Many of the animals that come to AWCC remain as permanent residents, due to life altering injuries, ensuring they have a safe and nurturing home. It’s an opportunity to witness and learn about these magnificent creatures up close while supporting the important work being done to protect them.

Portage Glacier Valley

As you journey through the picturesque Portage Valley, marvel at the grandeur of the Harding Icefield, one of Alaska’s largest and most majestic icefields.
